Discharge
Stage 04

Discharge

Deep discharge to 0 volts — where actual recycling begins.

The actual recycling of lithium-ion batteries starts with deep discharging. We use the latest technology, which ensures safe and efficient discharging of cells, modules and battery packs.

What happens

Cells, modules and packs
Our technology handles the full range, from individual cells through to complete EV packs.
Discharge to 0 V
Discharging to 0 volts is the key safety measure taken before any mechanical processing.
Turning Residual Energy into Usable Power
Batteries entering the recycling process still contain valuable residual energy. Instead of letting this energy go to waste, we recover it and feed it back into our facility's internal power grid. Our regenerative electronic load converts the remaining battery energy into AC power, enabling us to reuse it directly within the recycling plant. This intelligent energy recovery system can cover up to 50% of the plant's electricity demand — a more efficient recycling process with lower energy costs, reduced grid consumption, and better use of available resources.
