Collection of End-of-Life Batteries
We collect and manage end-of-life batteries from OEM manufacturers and leading automotive and industrial brands. We provide professional end-to-end coordination — from collection and cross-border transport to the required documentation and subsequent management of the batteries.

Transport

Storage
Safe storage in our facilities is achievable because of the storage environment, periodic monitoring, a thermal monitoring system and the use of proper packaging.

Discharge
The actual recycling of lithium-ion batteries starts with deep discharging. We use the latest technology, which ensures safe and efficient discharging of cells, modules and battery packs.

Pre-treatment
Following discharge and disassembly, the batteries are crushed in a controlled inert-gas environment. The electrolyte solvent is extracted from the crushed materials through vacuum distillation. The resulting solvent is of exceptionally high purity, as the formation of hydrogen fluoride from byproducts is circumvented. This solvent is then forwarded to the chemical industry for further refinement.

Recycling
The final stage yields clean, stable black mass — the raw material from which downstream refining recovers lithium, nickel, cobalt and manganese. Our low-temperature process keeps aluminium and copper contaminants below 2%, while those metals and the remaining metallic fractions are forwarded to the Roster Ltd mixed-metal plant for separate recycling.
