Recycling

The final stage yields clean, stable black mass — the raw material from which downstream refining recovers lithium, nickel, cobalt and manganese. Our low-temperature process keeps aluminium and copper contaminants below 2%, while those metals and the remaining metallic fractions are forwarded to the Roster Ltd mixed-metal plant for separate recycling.

What happens

Black mass purity

Highest purity grades due to the low-temperature process — black mass at over 99% purity.

Al and Cu contaminants under 2%

Precise separation at the previous stage keeps aluminium and copper residues in the black mass below 2% — a key quality benchmark downstream refiners look for.

Output metal fractions

The separated Al and Cu fractions are processed at the Roster Ltd mixed-metal plant, with proven purity of over 99.7%.
