What happens
- Permitted capacity
- 20,000 tonnes of permitted storage capacity, across 25,000 sq.m of warehousing.
- Thermal monitoring
- A thermal monitoring system watches the storage areas for early detection of thermal runaway.
- Segregation by condition
- Batches are segregated by battery condition and chemistry, with appropriate packaging for each category.
- A 55,000 sq.m site
- The warehousing sits within the wider 55,000 sq.m Kameno production field — room to buffer volume and grow without capacity becoming the constraint.
- Strategic location
- The site sits roughly 15 km from an airport, 20 km from a port and 5 km from the Europe–Asia motorway corridor — short haul distances and fast access to international transport routes.
